How this website handles your details

What you send us

The quote form asks for your name, phone number, email, town, the service you want and anything else you would like to tell us. Only your name and a phone number or email are required. Whatever you type goes to Costa Cuts Landscaping so we can answer you. It is kept in the website’s private inbox, which only the owner can log in to, until it is deleted there.

Who else sees it

An AI writing assistant (Claude). To save time, the website asks Claude to draft a first reply to your request. It is sent your request and contact details for that one purpose; we read and edit the draft before anything is sent to you. Under its business (API) terms, Claude does not use what it is sent to train its AI.
Our email provider, which delivers our replies to you.
Cloudflare, which hosts and protects this website, handles every visit, as any web host does. It also counts page views for us without cookies or tracking you across sites. If our own server is ever offline, Cloudflare keeps a copy of the website running and holds any request you send until the server is back (usually minutes, at most 30 days), then deletes it.
Tenczar Technologies, who built and look after the website, can reach the server it runs on to keep it working.

That is all. The website has no advertising or social media trackers and does not sell or hand your details to anyone else.

Text messages

If you tick the text-message box on the quote form, Costa Cuts Landscaping (registered with the mobile carriers as Costa Cuts Lawn Care & Landscaping) may text the number you gave: a confirmation that you signed up, then after your job a request to leave us a Google review plus up to 4 weekly reminders, at most 5 texts per job. We use your mobile number only to send you those texts. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to stop at any time, or HELP for help. Ticking the box is not required to get a quote. The full text-message terms are in our terms.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text-messaging opt-in data and consent are not shared with any third parties. The text-messaging provider that delivers our texts receives your number only to deliver them.

Cookies

One cookie, which keeps the quote form secure (it stops other websites from submitting it in your name). It expires after 8 hours and is not used to track you.
